Digital networking in everyday life is unstoppable. Smartphones, apps and online services are increasingly affecting our communication patterns and behavior. Rapid technological development has enabled full connectivity between products and (eco)systems and corporations from all industries want to participate in the connectivity and digital boom. Also vehicles are becoming an integrated part of a connected life ecosystem and it is expected that there will be a “digital explosion” by more than 210 million connected cars until 2016. But also in the traditional automotive industry new business models are required in order to create an individual customer value. This workshop will provide you with industry insights about connectivity and digitalization trends in the automotive industry, as well as the strategic positioning of various existing and new players. You will moreover learn to systematically crack an exciting consulting case in small groups during the workshop.
